Spicewood located about 22 Miles Northwest of Austin and 16 miles Southeast of Marble Falls, the town intersects with three different counties – Blanco, Burnet and Travis. With much Lake Travis shoreline and the Pedernales River running through, it is a boating and fishing mecca too. Spicewood Vineyards is located here and offers tours, tastings and an event center for weddings or other functions, in addition to some great Texas wine.
Students attend Lake Travis ISD (for residents located South of the Pedernales) and Marble Falls ISD (to the north of the Pedernales River). Many subdivisions including their own marinas or lake access and park areas. Pace Bend Park featuring 1,368 acres and 9 miles of Lake Travis frontage is a popular destination, particularly on warm summer days.
Neighborhoods include: The Coves on Lake Travis, The Reserve on Lake Travis, Inverness, Travis Settlement, Briarcliff (actually it’s own village), Angel Bay, Spicewood Beach, Lakeside Beach, Paleface Ranch, Barton Creek Lakeside, Lakecliff and many more.
The area comprises both full time residents and many second homeowners. Much of Spicewood is only a 10-15 minute drive to the nearby Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave.
